Anxiety
Whether it's stressing about being called on in class or freaking out in social situations, you can handle these moments by learning some techniques to calm yourself down.
That’s where the therapist steps in. They help you figure out what triggers these feelings and teach you specific tools to use when it happens, because no one wants to feel left out or get made fun of.
If you’re feeling unmotivated to hang out with friends, do your homework, or even take care of chores, and you’d rather just stay in bed all day, those could be signs of depression. It can look different for everyone, but the good news is, we’re here to help. We can show you how to manage those feelings and help you start feeling better.
Depression
The relief people sometimes feel from cutting or burning, or even the thought of just leaving because things feel too tough, are ways some people manage stress, fear, and anger. It comes down to finding a way to release those overwhelming feelings.
What if I told you that you don’t have to keep going down that path? There are ways to get the same relief without the scars and still have a bright future ahead. That’s exactly what we do here – we offer hope and support when things feel tough.
Suicide and Self-Harm
Relationships can be tough. Parents constantly telling you what to do and where to be, friends who bring drama, and boyfriends who can be a bit clueless and, let’s be real, kind of stinky.
Who really knows what to do in situations like these? We do. We’ve got ways to help you handle those yelling matches with mom and dad, deal with friends who don’t act like real friends, and even manage those stinky boys.

Self-Image
Social media—like TikTok and Instagram—is full of people who seem perfect, showing off their ideal bodies, workout routines, and lives. It’s hard to keep up with all the new trends, like beef tallow or the latest Korean skincare. Eventually, it starts to mess with your self-image when you can't keep up, and it can really hurt inside, making you feel like no one could possibly understand what you're going through.
In therapy, we can dive into all the thoughts and feelings you have about your self-image. It’s a safe, judgment-free space where you can talk freely and work through those tough emotions.

What to Expect in Therapy
Core Beliefs
Explore core beliefs - our deeply held principles that shape our actions, emotions, and responses. These beliefs are formed during childhood and adolescence and continue to influence how we show up as adults. They shape the way we view the world and the people around us.
Trauma Work
We use a combination of Internal Family Systems to explore your history and different parts, Attachment theory to understand your connections with others, and Brain spotting to help you regain a sense of self and safety.
Family History
We can explore your family’s ecosystem, examining how you interact with one another, how emotions are handled, patterns that have been passed down, and the unspoken rules everyone follows.
Relationship Patterns
We help you understand how you communicate and show up in relationships. If needed, we support you in learning how to navigate relationships more effectively, set boundaries, develop secure attachments, and communicate more openly.
Inner Child Work
We take the time to understand all sides of you. Each part of you holds truths about what you’ve experienced throughout your life. Some parts carry heavy burdens, while others work to protect you at all costs.
Skill Building
We work collaboratively to provide you with a range of strategies to address various challenges. Drawing from multiple therapeutic approaches, we equip you with coping skills to manage thoughts, improve interpersonal relationships, enhance mindfulness, build distress tolerance, regulate emotions, and more.
